OVERVIEW
Harding Charter Preparatory High School is a free and public school of choice for not only Oklahoma City Public School patrons, those students who live in other school districts may transfer to our school for its program. This school’s mission statement reads:
Every student shall graduate with the qualifications to attend any
four-year public institution.

Harding Charter Prep offers a rigorous college-prep curriculum with a focus on College Board Advanced Placement courses. Offering a total of 22 Advanced Placement courses, Harding Charter Preparatory High School is a comprehensive high school providing all of the fine arts courses and a competitive athletic program. All courses offered are taught using a Pre-AP or AP curriculum and strategies.  To complement our curriculum, we offer six World Languages; French, Spanish, German, Latin, Greek and Russian.

Established in 2003, Harding Charter Preparatory High School has graduated twelve classes. It is accredited by the State of Oklahoma, the Advanced Ed/North Central Association and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) certified. Thebestschools.org report ranked Harding Charter Prep the #1 public high school in Oklahoma and #23 in the Nation. Newsweek ranked Harding Charter Prep #118 in the top 2,300 Best High School in America in 2015. The Washington Post has ranked HCP #1 in Oklahoma four consecutive years (2013-2017) and #111 in America for 2017, and US News and World Report has ranked HCP #1 in Oklahoma and #150 in America for 2018. Harding Charter Preparatory High School was awarded the Best Charter School of 2017 by Choice Matters.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS;
Harding Charter Preparatory HS has a 4 X 4 curriculum where students will graduate with 28 units of credit; four years in Math, Science, English and History. In addition, we require 2 years credit in the same World Language, as well as Humanities.
