This is my 19th year in education and the third charter school I have worked at.  I also taught 6.5 years at the university level.  I am really enjoy teaching US History since I have been a grader/reader for APUSH Exam the past three years.

I was born in Honduras but was adopted and grew up in the OKC Area.  I moved to the Houston Area during high school and attended Baylor University for my undergraduate degree.  I then moved back to Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma State University for my Master's degree.  I decided to go back to school two years ago to pursue a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with specific study in Higher Education Administration.  As of the beginning of the Spring 2019 Semester I am 2/3rds of the way through my course work and halfway done with the whole program.

I am married to my wife of almost 14 years and have twin four year old girls.  They keep me busy but I would not trade it for the world.  I also have a basset hound named Daisy who may not be the smartest dog in the world but brings us lots of joy!
