Concurrent Enrollment Policy

           

Harding Charter Preparatory students will be allowed to enroll at a metropolitan college or university while enrolled at Harding.  The following opportunities are available:

 

Summer Concurrent Enrollment: Any student who has a 3.0 cumulative GPA and has an ACT of 20 in a subject  area may apply and take summer classes at a university, which will accept them.  These college class grades will not be transcripted on the HCP transcript but the student will then have their own college transcript.

 

School Year Concurrent Enrollment: Only seniors will be allowed to do concurrent enrollment during the school year.  The is opportunity will be available second semester only. To be eligible a senior must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and an ACT score of 20 or more in the subject area they will be studying. They must have been accepted and enrolled for concurrent enrollment before the last day of the first semester.  Proof of this must be given to the College Adviser. The student’s schedule will not be adjusted until all conditions have been met. These college class grades will not be transcripted on the HCP transcript but the student will then have their own college transcript.
