2025-2026 Lottery results
General Admissions Information
Admission to Harding Charter Preparatory Schools is first-come, first-served, according to the following priority rankings:
- Applicants with siblings currently enrolled in HCP schools and/or current HCP students applying to another HCP school.
- All other applicants.
If applications exceed available seats, a lottery will be held. The lottery will not change the prioirty order above.
How it Works
- Applications are available on the district website each fall.
- Each application is assigned a number upon receipt.
- Families are notified when their application is received or if it is incomplete.
- Applications must be submitted by the deadline set by the Superintendent (between early February and early March). Late applications will be placed on a secondary waiting list.
If a lottery is required, it will take place the week after the application window closes and will be open to the public, and overseen by the Governance Board and Superintendent.
Families selected through the lottery will receive an acceptance notification and must confirm their seat within two weeks. Unaccepted or incomplete enrollments will be offered to the next student on the list.
Once enrolled, students remain automatically enrolled each year as long as all requirements are met.
Applications for 2026-2027 close on February 13th. Families will be notified on February 20th and learn of their acceptance or waitlist status on that date.
