General Admissions Information
Thank you for your interest in Harding Charter Preparatory School District. Admission to the district’s schools is on a first-come, first-served basis -- subject to the priority rankings listed below and the number of seats available. If the number of applications exceeds the number of seats available, the district is required to select students through a lottery.
Regardless of priority rankings, all applications for admission must be submitted by the deadline to be considered. The priority rankings are as follows:
Tier 1: Applicants who are currently enrolled students; applicants with siblings currently enrolled; applicants with a guardian currently employed by HCPS.
Tier 2: All other applicants
Applications will be accepted beginning Oct. 1 of the year prior to admission through the first Friday of the following March at 4:30 p.m. Any application received after 4:30 p.m. shall be considered late and put on a second waitlist. The first waitlist will be comprised of students whose numbers were not pulled during their school's lottery.
Once a student has been enrolled in the district, that student will automatically be enrolled for each succeeding school year, provided all application and enrollment requirements are met.
