Harding Charter Preparatory School District is proud to announce that it has been awarded a Charter School Program (CSP) Subgrant totaling $2,000,000 over the next three school years to support the opening of a new elementary school in Fall 2027.

This significant investment marks a major milestone for our district and the community we serve. The grant will provide critical resources to ensure that the new elementary school opens with strong systems, high-quality instructional materials, and a learning environment designed to support student success from the very first day.

Funding will be used to equip classrooms with high-quality curriculum, hands-on learning materials, and manipulatives; furnish spaces with modern, student-centered furniture; expand access to technology; and provide meaningful enrichment opportunities that support the whole child. This investment ensures that students will enter a school environment built for engagement, rigor, and long-term achievement.

More importantly, this expansion represents a powerful step forward in fulfilling HCP’s mission to prepare students for success at any postsecondary institution. By opening a second elementary school, we are extending access to a rigorous, college-preparatory pathway earlier in a student’s educational journey—strengthening the foundation that leads to success in middle school, high school, and beyond.

For years, Harding Charter Preparatory has delivered strong outcomes for students, and this new campus will allow more families to access that experience from the very beginning. It reflects our belief that every student deserves access to a high-quality education and the opportunity to be part of a community that holds them to high expectations while supporting them every step of the way.
