At the March 30 Board of Education meeting, the Harding Charter Preparatory School District Board voted unanimously to amend its charter agreement with Harding Charter College Preparatory School, formally approving the addition of a new elementary site within the Harding Independent Charter District.

This decision marks a significant milestone in the continued growth of our district and reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality educational opportunities for students and families in our community.

The addition of a new elementary school will allow Harding to extend its college-preparatory model to more students at an earlier point in their educational journey. By strengthening the K–12 pathway, this expansion will ensure that more students are prepared for the rigorous academic experiences that define Harding schools and for success beyond graduation.

The Board’s unanimous vote underscores the confidence in Harding’s mission, track record of student achievement, and vision for the future. It also reflects a broader commitment to meeting the growing demand for high-quality public school options in Oklahoma City.
