Harding Charter Preparatory High School is excited to announce three new head coaching hires for the 2026–2027 school year as the school continues to strengthen opportunities for students both inside and outside the classroom.

Joining the Eagles this year are Alexandria Velders, who will serve as Head Girls Volleyball Coach; Marcus Hines, who will lead the Girls Basketball program; and Jarod Graham, who will take over as Head Boys Basketball Coach.

The new coaches will have the opportunity to build upon Harding Charter Prep's tradition of excellence while developing programs centered on teamwork, leadership, discipline, accountability, and growth.

At Harding Charter Preparatory High School, the focus remains firmly connected to the school's mission: to provide each student with an academically challenging and equitable educational experience through an Advanced Placement curriculum, preparing all graduates for success at a four-year university.

That commitment to preparing students for college extends throughout the student experience. Harding seeks to develop well-rounded students who understand the importance of academic achievement, hard work, leadership, responsibility, and representing their school community with pride.

As the 2026–2027 school year begins, HCPHS looks forward to the leadership Coach Velders, Coach Hines, and Coach Graham will bring to their respective programs and the relationships they will build with Harding's student-athletes, families, and community.
